Executive Chef Kelly Marshall

The Quorum Hotel Tampa recently announced the promotion of Kelly Marshall to the position of executive chef. In this position, Marshall is responsible for all food and beverage operations including catering, banquets and overseeing the hotel's restaurant - The Blue Water Grill. She handles purchasing, monthly inventory, scheduling, menu design, planning and execution of functions serving up to 650 people, and training and supervising 18 employees. Marshall was promoted from her position as executive sous chef of the hotel, a position she has held since July 2005. Prior to her work at Quorum, Marshall worked as the assistant chef at the Massasoit Community College Conference Center in Massachusetts. Additional experience includes sous chef for PapaRazzi, a division of the Back Bay Restaurant Group (Hanover, MA); kitchen manager for Legal Seafoods (Boston, MA) and assistant restaurant manager for Long Life Noodle Company & Jook Joint (Berkeley, CA). Marshall graduated from the esteemed Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island with a BS in culinary arts. A native of Massachusetts, Marshall currently lives in Riverview, Florida with her husband and daughter.
